Hey there,
I hope this finds you well wherever you are reading this. Recently, Nat and I have made the decision to completely do away with social media and delete all of our accounts. Well, almost all of them. Nat is still holding on to Instagram because she likes to look at all of the puppy photos.
Deleting social media isn't an event that necessarily needs to be announced, there're plenty of people out there walking around without social media, and living great lives, but it's a particularly interesting new episode in our lives and one I find worthy of sharing.
Disconnecting from social media is a decision that has been in the works for a long time. Instagram sessions frequently turn into bottomless time-sucks and it's exhausting to read the constant political vitriol on Facebook and Twitter. As much as we love the aspect of being connected to so many people from life, it's certainly time to simplify life a bit and strip away the things that aren't essential.
Mostly, we want more time to spend together, more time to do our hobbies, and more time to focus on the aspects of life that are healthy and God-centered. If you're reading this, we hope you'll come back every once in a while to check in, check out all of the updates and photos and all the goings-on in life, and maybe leave the occasional comment or two. We look forward to hearing from you.
With Love,
Ben and Nat Dupuy
